The Estimate Travel Fee tool allows you to quickly calculate estimated travel charges based on a property’s location and your teams configured Service Areas. By entering a property address, you can preview the estimated travel distance and applicable travel fee before creating or scheduling an order. This helps ensure more accurate pricing and gives you a better understanding of how Service Areas and travel rates affect booking costs.

Estimating a Travel Fee
Step-by-step:
Step 1: Click on the Team Management tab in the navigation on the left-hand side of the page.
Step 2: In the sub-navigation, click the Team Members tab.
Step 3: In your list of Team Members, click the Service Area icon to launch the Service Areas drawer. You can also click the ellipses icon for the Team Member and select 'Configure Service Area' to launch the Service Areas drawer.
Step 4: Click the 'Estimate Travel Fee' option in the lower left-hand corner of the Service Areas drawer.
Step 5: In the Enter a Location field, type in the address of the property that you would like to get an estimated travel fee for. While typing, you will see some Google suggested addresses. You can click one of those to auto-complete the address.
Step 6: When an address is entered into the Estimate Travel Fee tool, the platform compares the property location against the configured Service Areas for the selected Team Member. Based on the matching Service Area, the system calculates the estimated travel distance and applies any configured Base Rate and Per Mile travel charges. The estimated fee and mileage are then displayed, allowing you to preview potential travel costs before scheduling or creating the order.
