When bringing on a new client or brokerage, you may want to offer products that are exclusive to them and not available to your other customers. You can accomplish this by using Price Tiers.
By creating a Price Tier and hiding the product's default price, the product will only be visible to clients or groups who have been assigned that Price Tier.
How to create client or group exclusive products
For step-by-step instructions with screenshots, see the Step-by-Step section at the bottom of this article.
Step 1: Click the Business tab.
Step 2: Click the Shopping Cart tab.
Step 3: Create a Price Tier.
Step 4: Create a product.
Step 5: Set the product price to "Hide."
Step 6: Click the Price Tiers tab.
Step 7: Enter a price for the Price Tier.
Step 8: Click "Save Updates."
Step 9: Assign the Price Tier to the client or group.
Step-by-step
Step 1: Click the Business tab at the top of the page.
Step 2: Click the Shopping Cart tab on the left-hand side of the page.
Step 3: Scroll down to the Price Tiers section and click the "Create a New Price Tier" button. Note: If you haven't created a Price Tier before, see our guide on creating Price Tiers and complete Steps 1 through 5 before continuing.
Step 4: Once your Price Tier has been created, create the exclusive product by either adding it to an existing Product Category or creating a new one. Click the "Create a New Product" button and complete the Product Details tab.
Step 5: In the Price field, select the "Hide" option. Note: This hides the product from all clients unless they are assigned a Price Tier with a price for that product.
Step 6: Click the Price Tiers tab on the left-hand side of the Product Details page.
Step 7: For the Price Tier you created, enter the price you want the exclusive client or group to pay for this product.
Step 8: Click the "Save Updates" button to save the product.
Step 9: Assign the Price Tier to the appropriate client or group from the Client Summary or Group Details page. Note: Clients must be logged in to their account when placing an order to see exclusive products assigned through a Price Tier. If they are not logged in, the product will remain hidden.
