When creating your products, you can now set them to a square footage range. When your clients enter their property details on the order form and input the property's square footage, your products will automatically update based on the options available for that property size. To get the most out of this functionality, you will want to use a shopping cart that begins by asking for the property location and square footage. Our Service Areas carts accomplish this.
How to set up square footage based products

Step 1: Click the Business tab
Step 2: Click the Shopping Cart tab
Step 3: Click "Create a New Product"
Step 4: Enter Product Name and Description
Step 5: Enter Price and Time on Site
Step 6: Enter Minimum/Maximum SqFt
Step 7: Add any other product details
Step 8: Click "Save Updates"
Step 9: Test order
Step-by-step
Step 1: Click the Business tab at the top of the page.
Step 2: Click the Shopping Cart tab on the left-hand side of the page.
Step 3: In the Product Category where you would like to create this new square footage-based product, click "Create a New Product." Note: if you do not already have Product Categories created, you will need to create those before creating products. Click here for steps on creating Product Categories.
Step 4: Enter in the Product Name and Description for your new product.
Step 5: Enter in the Price and choose a Time on Site.
Step 6: In the Minimum SqFt and Maximum SqFt boxes, enter your square footage range for this product. For example, if this product is for a floor plan on homes between 4500 and 5500 sqft, then you will set the Minimum to "4501" and the Maximum to "5500".
Step 7: Add any other product details that you need such as team members who offer the product, price tier differences, and dependencies.
Step 8: Click the "Save Updates" button to create your new product.
Step 9: You can now place a test order to see this product as available or removed based on the square footage entered in the Property Information section. Note: to get the most out of this functionality, you will want to be using one of our carts that leads with asking for the property information/square footage.
